We have two luxurious guest wings in Amsterdam Castle available for overnight stay. Both wings are large suite-like facilities of approximately 1500 sq ft with a bedroom in the turret, a private bath and a large living room. We serve a full breakfast, and we offer free wi-fi, cable tv and a DVD player. Thirsty? Pick from our large selection of Keurig individual hot drinks, and flavor with a little local honey if you’d like. We have fluffy towels and bathrobes and organic soaps for your usage.
Bored with all that pampering? You are welcome to shoot hoops in our 10,000 sq foot gym or play billiards, or our Steinway piano. We have an extensive library that you are welcome to peruse.
Discounts: We offer 10% off for Amsterdam Mohawk players and their families, and 10% off for active military (its an armory, after all!) . We regret but we do not give AAA discounts since AAA only reviews properties of 6 rooms +.
Extras: We charge no extras, but if you deliberately depart with things belonging to your room (bathrobes, Kcups, furnishings..) we will charge your credit card full retail price for them. Once a year there is always someone who views us as a way to stock up and this makes us sad.

* The Secretariat Room has a queen sized bed and adjoins the Officers Wing. For $50, you can add this room to your Officers Wing reservation to make a luxurious suite. The Secretariat Room does NOT have a private bath: it shares a bath (and shower) with the Officers Wing, so you must all like each other. To reserve, book the Officers Wing and send us an email at reservations@amsterdamcastle.com to add Secretariat to your reservation.

Event and Photo Rental
Cost is $100/hour for our beautiful Kennedy Room (holds 50) or other facilities. We deliver you the room clean and you return it to us clean. Please call us for more details or to schedule and appointment. For large events, we will require a certficate of insurance for $1 million naming Susan Phemister and Amsterdam Castle as insured.

Breakfast
Full breakfast is available at the time of your choice from 7-10am, either in room or in the Kennedy Room. Breakfast is often eggs/bacon/toast/fruit/yogurt/juice/coffee/tea, but depends on what we have from our local suppliers and what we feel like cooking that morning. Guests say it is delicious and copious. If you have any special food needs, please let us know so we may accommodate you.
Our Pricing Policy:
Every dollar spent by guests at Amsterdam Castle is used for the ongoing restoration and renovation of Amsterdam Castle. We are very grateful for our guests and thankful that you help us maintain this beautiful historic structure. But alas, we are not a chain hotel. If you reserve a room for 4 and show up as 7, that is not so good. If you have a buy one night, get one night gift certificate from I Love Inns, please understand that we are unlikely to be able to accept on a summer or holiday weekend. Cancellation Policy
We will charge your credit card one night to hold your reservation, and we will charge any balance the day of your departure. If you cancel one week or more before your reservation, we will refund your one night deposit minus a $25 cancellation fee. This is your contribution to the historic building fund. If you cancel less than one week before your arrival, we will retain your deposit and charge any remaining part of your reservation. We actively plan for your arrival and stay, and we regularly turn down other guests to honor your reservation. Thank you for your understanding in helping us run this historic building.
